Tuition at The Bagley ISD Schools is set by the School Board and Trustees each year. Tuition for the current school year is $9500 (elementary) and $10,450 (secondary) (2007-2008) and is adjusted annually. A yearly activity fee of $150 covers all extracurricular activities such as intramurals, drama and field trips. Each student also pays a registration fee of $350 annually which covers the administrative costs associated with course selection, curriculum guide, progress and report cards, administration of standardized tests and student insurance. It also provides funding for co-curricular activities and contributes towards items such as ID photos and admission to home interscholastic games.
Financial aid at The Bagley ISD Schools is awarded solely on basis of need. From the very beginning of The Bagley ISD Schools, the balance between a fair tuition-based education and making education available to all who wish to attend a Bagley ISD School has been a constant challenge. Through parent programs, donations, outside scholarships, and other funds continue to be set aside at The Bagley ISD Schools to ensure that financial assistance will be available for those who demonstrate need. To ensure that awards are objective, The Bagley ISD Schools uses an outside third party assessor. Applications and deadlines can be found on the The Bagley ISD Schools website at www.bagleyisd.org. All information sent to STATS, our assessor, is confidential, but must be verified with up to date tax returns. Notices of awards will be included with new student's acceptance letters in January. All families who receive awards are asked to volunteer some extra service to the school community - generally through our After School programs, which generates funds for our aid program. Based on need, over $300,000 was made available to families for the 2007-08 school year.
